Shoulder Pain
Shoulder pain could be caused by referred pain from the neck, soft tissue injury of the shoulder girdle, thoracic stiffness, arthritis of the shoulder joint or adhesive capsulitis (frozen shoulder).
Symptoms
- Pain on movement of the shoulder
- Pain in the shoulder that wakes you at night time
- Inability to lift the arm overhead
- Continuous sharp pain in the shoulder
- Radiating pain down the arm
- Upper back stiffness
- Headaches or neck pain and stiffness
